Greg grew up in Vancouver, BC, and his fondest memories from those days were the annual trips to the sunny Okanagan for the family’s summer vacation. Greg wanted to move to the Okanagan eventually, but there was a slight detour along the way.
After graduating from high school, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces. For the next 35 years he lived across Canada from coast to coast to coast (yes, he even lived along the Arctic Ocean). Over the course of his career, he also lived overseas in Bermuda, Augsburg Germany, and Colorado Springs Colorado.
Greg’s career in the military was quite successful and highly rewarding. He started his military life as a young private and over the years advanced steadily. As he neared completion of a Bachelor of Arts degree he was selected for commissioning as an officer and completed his service in the Royal Canadian Air Force having attained the rank of major.
He had the opportunity to serve Canada on several overseas operations. Greg was decorated for participating in such operations as the airlift of humanitarian supplies into Sarajevo, NATO operations in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia. He also deployed twice to the Persian Gulf to support Canada’s mission in Afghanistan.
The dream of moving to the Okanagan never faded and it finally came to fruition when Greg decided to pursue a career in real estate, which he has thrived at ever since!
As a Realtor, Greg would like nothing more than to help you to fulfill your own dream of moving to the Okanagan, as he himself did when it was time to trade the sands of Dubai and Qatar for Vernon’s beaches.
Since arriving here in the Okanagan, he has rekindled his passion for golf, photography and helping others reach their real estate dreams. Greg quickly settled into the community and has volunteered to help several causes while he pursued his new dream of becoming a successful Realtor.
